Quality Control Technician at Dawson Construction

Become a key player at Dawson Construction as a Quality Control Technician in Kamloops, BC. In this full-time seasonal position, ensure compliance with all quality standards and client specifications.

You will report directly to the Manager of Quality Control, actively participating in our Quality Management System.

Your role involves conducting tests in the field and lab, maintaining project files, and ensuring seamless communication with project managers and clients. This position may require travel across the province.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-field testing on construction sites

• Perform soil and asphalt evaluations in the lab

• Prepare accurate test reports and maintain records

• Develop strong working relationships with project stakeholders

• Identify and report non-conformances promptly

Requirements:

• Background in materials testing or civil construction

• Familiarity with quality management processes (QMS)

• Strong document control and administrative skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Class 5 Driver’s License is mandatory
