Quality Control Inspector BC

Join Dawson Construction as a Quality Control Inspector based in Kamloops, BC, ensuring all quality standards are met. This role focuses on inspections and continuous improvement in our Quality Management System.

In this temporary, full-time position, you will report to the Manager of Quality and be crucial to our Quality Control Team. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards while communicating effectively with stakeholders. You will also be responsible for travel throughout the province to assess various job sites and uphold quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and coordinate work activities on-site

• Create daily reports on asphalt/aggregate assessments

• Maintain comprehensive QMS records

• Improve processes and manage non-conformance

• Collaborate with the Ministry of Transportation

Requirements:

• Engineering technologist designation preferred

• Five years minimum experience in construction/maintenance

• Knowledge of MOTI, MMCD, and ISO 9001 standards

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
