Support LNIB's mission in cultural heritage and environmental evaluation as a Field Worker. Engage in field assessments to ensure protection of resources during development activities.
As a Field Worker, you will collaborate with LNIB staff to conduct environmental monitoring and cultural heritage assessments. Your focus will involve data collection, field surveying, and utilizing technology to enhance project outcomes, ensuring that cultural values are preserved.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct surveys of cultural and ecological resources
• Manage data entry on field devices like iPads
• Draft reports summarizing field survey outcomes
• Operate mapping applications for effective resource management
• Comply with safety standards and instructions
Requirements:
• Possession of a valid driver’s license desirable
• Interest in Nlaka’pamux cultural education and practices
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Capable of working in diverse outdoor settings
• Eagerness to learn the Nlaka’pamux language is encouraged
