This seasonal role offers the chance to learn while assisting the team in conducting surveys and monitoring archaeological sites. Key responsibilities include collecting data, participating in cultural resource management, and documenting fieldwork. Field conditions will vary, ensuring a diverse experience for those passionate about archaeology and cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pedestrian surveys and field testing
• Assist in monitoring and data recovery projects
• Prepare field notes and maintain equipment
• Submit timesheets and expenses timely
• Ensure compliance with safety policies
Requirements:
• Education and training in fieldwork or archaeology
• Level 1 First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
• Clean driver abstract
• Physical fitness for outdoor environments
