This casual position reports to the Thrift Store Manager, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Your role involves guiding volunteers, managing customer relationships, and ensuring a welcoming store atmosphere. By supporting the Employment Program, you'll help individuals gain valuable experience on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle sales transactions and support customer inquiries

• Promote partnerships for increased donations

• Organize and clean the store to enhance the customer experience

• Engage volunteers to fulfill daily tasks efficiently

• Implement opening and closing procedures including cash handling

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in retail or customer service

• Skills in sales or marketing

• Strong communication and empathy towards marginalized communities

• Ability to resolve conflicts effectively

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs routinely
