Support Walmart Canada shoppers with self checkout assistance, friendly service, and transaction checks at the Kamloops, British Columbia store.
This Self Checkout Attendant role supports customer service and retail operations in the self service checkout area. You will maintain area standards, assist customers, monitor activity, and explain interventions clearly. The position also includes promoting applicable Walmart programs, responding to EAS alerts, and managing Scan & Go equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Keep the self checkout area clean, safe, and organized
- Help customers complete self checkout transactions confidently
- Monitor activity and complete required customer checks
- Escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager
- Return Scan & Go scanners to designated storage locations
- Be at least 16 years old
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend and lift up to 20 pounds
- Occasional ability to lift up to 50 pounds
