This Cashier position supports Walmart Canada customers during every checkout interaction. You will process purchases efficiently, protect company assets, and maintain register security. The work includes merchandise deactivation, sponsored program promotion, bagging, loading, and service referrals.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet every customer politely and warmly
- Process purchase transactions efficiently and accurately
- Deactivate merchandise under the EAS Program
- Assist customers with bagging and merchandise loading
- Refer service matters to the Customer Service Manager
- Be at least 16 years old
- Maintain diligent cash handling practices
- Follow relevant company policies consistently
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Use proper lifting practices during work
