Support Walmart Canada shoppers with self checkout assistance, friendly service, and transaction checks at the Kamloops store location.
As a Self Checkout Attendant, you maintain a clean, safe, and organized checkout area. You help customers complete transactions confidently while monitoring activity and explaining interventions clearly. You also support Walmart programs, respond to EAS alerts, and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers using self checkout quickly and confidently
- Monitor activity and complete required checkout checks
- Maintain clean, safe, organized self checkout standards
- Promote applicable Walmart programs and initiatives
- Respond to EAS alerts and complete required documentation
- Be 16 years of age or older
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift equipment or supplies up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail during repetitive organizing tasks
