Security Guard

Overview

Calm, cool, and collected. As an Industrial Security Officer, you know how to remain this way while working under pressure. You provide exceptional customer service skills and always do so with a friendly smile. You also utilize PPE and write detailed incident reports thanks to your excellent written communication skills.

Working at data centres and warehouses can present many hazards and obstacles. Your ability to anticipate and quickly address these inquiries is an exciting aspect you love about your position. Along with patrolling the facility regularly, your outstanding attention to detail ensures all entries to secure areas are authorized. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of the facility, monitoring access points, and ensuring that all entries into secure areas are properly authorized.

Your strong attention to detail and situational awareness will help maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property.

You will also be expected to complete accurate note taking and detailed report writing, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and observations related to site operations. Clear documentation and strong communication are essential to supporting both site safety and client expectations.

• Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile.
• Be comfortable standing or working outdoors for long periods of time.
• Hold a valid class driver's license.
• Be eligible to work in Canada for full time.
• Have prior experience, which is considered an asset.
• All officers are required to carry a valid Security License.
• Valid BC Security Licence.
