Gateway is seeking a dedicated Security Officer with at least six months of experience. In this pivotal position, you will oversee security on the gaming floor, control access to sensitive areas, and respond to guest inquiries promptly. Your proactive approach and awareness of gaming operations will protect the company from theft while ensuring a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a positive presence on the gaming floor
• Control access to secure areas of the casino
• Monitor alarm panels and issue keys as necessary
• Write reports and maintain a daily log
• Provide First Aid and medical assistance when needed
Requirements:
• Minimum six months experience in security
• Strong customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Valid BC Security License required
• Completion of Serving It Right certification
