Part-Time Security Supervisor Position

Assume a critical role at Interior Health as a part-time Security Supervisor in Kamloops. Your expertise will guide staff and uphold rigorous security protocols across the facility.

This position entails supervising Relational Security Officers, facilitating their training, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. You’ll be actively involved in resolving emergencies and documenting incidents, allowing for an effective response to various situations. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide work direction and training for Officers

• Utilize surveillance tech to patrol site effectively

• Handle emergencies and ensure safety measures

• Keep daily logs and prepare detailed reports

• Collaborate with fire and police on protocols

Requirements:

• Certification in BC’s Basic and Advanced Security Training

• Minimum three years’ experience, one in a leadership role

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to manage physical demands of the job

• Knowledge of security equipment operation
