Become a key voice in your community as a Community Member Representative. This role promotes respectful collaboration in community policing and public safety initiatives.
The Community Consultative Group is looking for 2-3 committed representatives from all age groups to engage with the Indigenous Policing Service. Your involvement will help strengthen community safety priorities and enhance the effectiveness of police services. Members are expected to advocate for the community's interests and contribute to meaningful discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regularly attend and engage in committee meetings
• Prepare thoroughly by reviewing necessary materials
• Participate actively in respectful discussions
• Understand and uphold committee functions
• Avoid conflicts of interest per established policies
Requirements:
• Open to individuals of all ages
• Must comply with any Criminal Record Check requirements
• Passion for community policing and public safety
• Strong interest in enhancing community trust and collaboration
• Ability to represent community concerns effectively
