TOMCO Production Services Ltd. provides the following specialty services to our clients:
- Post Weld Heat Treatment
- Cold Cutting and Beveling
- Hydraulic Torquing, Tensioning, and Nut Splitting
- Coring
- Hot and Cold Taps
- Flange Facing and Portable Milling
- Receive direction from the Operations Supervisor regarding project and daily work requirements.
- Perform work safely, complying with company and customer safety standards.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Properly use and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Perform machine operations such as pump/motor base milling, line boring, RTJ + RF flange faces.
- Ensure calibration and documentation of gauges and measuring equipment.
- Be familiar with field machining equipment and its limitations.
- Control machining parameters like speed, feed, coolant flow, and cut depth/angle.
- Estimate job duration and materials needed to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or college credits preferred.
- Completion of safety courses as required by clients and company.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, sketches, manuals, and specifications.
- Interpret isometric drawings and develop equipment requirements.
- Follow written and oral instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with field machining tools and equipment.
- Verify finished work conforms to specifications.
- Pass drug and alcohol tests administered by clients and the company.
- Willingness to work extended hours, shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license;
Class 3 license is beneficial. - Ability to work on out-of-town assignments and travel as needed.
- Work in various environmental conditions.
- Manual dexterity and physical ability to perform field duties, including climbing stairs and ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
