Location: GoldenAccountabilities
Work with Lift Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Administrator to coordinate, execute and document all lift related maintenanceCoordinate daily, weekly, and seasonal maintenance schedules with the teamIdentify and correct any problems found in resort lift equipmentAdhere to assembly and installation instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specificationsActively be involved in coordination of preventative and predictive maintenance of all lifts and lift maintenance equipmentMaintain records of work and report on all lift maintenance related activitiesAssist with training Lift Operators to safely operate the lifts and perform routine checksOperate company equipment safely and effectively in accordance with company policies and within Z-98 code as governed by BC Safety AuthorityLead, motivate and manage a team of skilled MillwrightsKeep work area safe and clean and report any damage, malfunction, misuse or abuse of any equipment or propertyEnsure safety of guests and employees through proper training and adherence to company policies and proceduresAssist with vehicle maintenance and snowmaking maintenance as requiredAdhere to all environmental policies and programs as requiredAdhere to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) responsibilities and requirements in all work practicesMaintain a friendly and professional manner when working with colleagues, contractors, and guestsOther duties as assignedRequirements
Certified Journeyperson MillwrightBC Safety Authority Lift 150, 151, 152, 153 certificationsWelding ticket (asset)4–5 years of ski industry experienceLift maintenance experience, including shutdowns and lift installation/infrastructure (asset)Must hold a current, valid driver’s licenseAdvanced skiing or snowboarding ability (required for on-hill access)Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and manualsCommunicate effectively through accurate verbal and written communications.Working Conditions
Able to work at heights and must have physical dexterity, strength and stamina necessary to work with machinery and equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and holidaysMay be exposed to severe resort weather conditions (snow, rain, cold, wind)Compensation and Benefits:
