Pacific Coast Community Inclusion Worker

Make a meaningful impact with Pacific Coast Community Resources as a Community Inclusion Worker.

Your role will support individuals in achieving personal, social, and vocational independence within the community.

In this position, you’ll leverage your experience in community social services to advocate for individuals seeking support. As a Community Inclusion Worker, you will empower clients to participate in various activities while maintaining their dignity and self-determination. Collaboration is key, fostering positive connections with families, professionals, and community members to ensure effective support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for the rights and choices of supported individuals

• Facilitate community engagement in social and vocational activities

• Document daily activities and personal health information

• Develop and implement Individual Service Plans with stakeholders

• Maintain positive interactions with families and community members

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in community social services

• Community Support Worker Diploma or equivalent education

• Emergency First Aid/CPR certification

• Criminal record clearance for vulnerable individuals

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
