Join the Kamloops RCMP as a part-time Crisis Support Liaison. Empower victims and witnesses through compassionate crisis intervention and community resource coordination.
In this permanent role, you will be vital in providing emotional support and court assistance. The position thrives on your communication skills and the ability to assist individuals impacted by crime and trauma. Your advocacy and coordination will make significant contributions to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver crisis intervention to victims and witnesses
• Offer assistance through court processes
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
• Facilitate access to community resources
• Participate in ongoing training and development
Requirements:
• High school completion or equivalent
• Two years in relevant post-secondary education
• RCMP or victim support experience is essential
• Intermediate level skills in Word, Excel, Power Point
• Must have a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
