TRU Social Work Field Educator

Your expertise will foster connections between TRU's School of Social Work and community agencies, enhancing the learning environment for students in Bachelor of Social Work and Human Service programs. You will lead training sessions and collaborate with faculty and community partners to optimize field education components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strong community placement opportunities
• Coordinate human service placements and oversee quality
• Lead educational initiatives for supervisors and students
• Address challenges during practicum placements
• Review and refine policies related to field education
Requirements:
• Master’s degree from an accredited social work program
• Five years of experience in social work practice
• Teaching experience in a post-secondary setting
• Registration with the BC College of Social Workers required
• Strong community networking skills in social work
Contribute significantly to the development of future social workers through this pivotal role.
