This part-time position with the Kamloops RCMP Victim Services Unit involves frontline support for individuals facing trauma. You will coordinate community resources, maintain documentation, and contribute to ongoing professional training, making a significant impact on the community you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to victims
• Facilitate court assistance for victims and witnesses
• Coordinate community support services effectively
• Document case details and fulfill reporting needs
• Engage in continuous professional development
Requirements:
• Completion of senior secondary school
• Minimum two years post-secondary education in relevant specialization
• At least one year of experience in victim services or related fields
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
