Your role will bridge gaps within the housing continuum.
Reporting to the Coordinated Access and Assessment Manager, you will be part of the HEART team dedicated to creating integrated support for vulnerable individuals. Training in social work or community resources will be essential as you guide clients through their housing challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with homeless individuals in community locations
• Facilitate access to shelter and support services
• Collaborate with community organizations and housing providers
• Aid in strategies to minimize and resolve encampments
• Develop trusted relationships with service users
Requirements:
• Completion of relevant post-secondary courses
• Extensive experience in homelessness service delivery
• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with cultural and community wellness approaches
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
Support BC Housing’s mission to provide essential resources and pathways out of homelessness for individuals in your community.
