Métis Family Connections Program Navigator

Empower Métis families as a Navigator within the Métis Family Connections Program. This hybrid role connects families with essential cultural resources, fostering community and cultural knowledge.

In this full-time position, you will provide vital support to Métis families, helping them access child care, academic services, and post-secondary training. You will engage in community outreach, enroll children, and collaborate with families on their unique needs while maintaining a culturally safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enroll children into the Métis Family Connections Program

• Conduct community outreach with youth and families

• Support families in accessing needed resources

• Collaborate on educational opportunities and events

• Generate monthly reports on activities and statistics

Requirements:

• Diploma in Education or related field required

• Three years' experience in community support or social work

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Office 365 and other technology

• Class 5 driver’s licence and clear background checks
