Your responsibilities include developing departmental programs, setting up activity areas, and assisting in resident transportation as needed. You will also monitor resident progress and maintain vital program records according to policies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and revise departmental procedures and programs
- Set up and facilitate activity areas for residents
- Assist in transporting residents to programs when required
- Promote social interaction through activities and events
- Maintain records and report feedback to the Team Leader
- Diploma or Certificate in recreation/leisure studies
- Experience working with seniors and understanding their motivations
- Familiarity with leisure principles and computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license for transportation needs
- Successful completion of required background checks
