The Tenant Support Worker position within the ASK Wellness Society includes providing support to program participants across all Merritt sites. You will engage in goal setting and program planning while fostering a safe and supportive environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital in helping participants regain their self-esteem and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Encourage independent living among program participants
• Aid in assessment and program planning processes
• Monitor safety and wellness through regular checks
• Collaborate with community resources for enhanced support
• Provide crisis intervention and necessary reporting
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Social Work or related field
• Strong conflict management and communication skills
• Understanding of community resources and professional boundaries
• Criminal record check clearance required
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification needed
