This Tenant Support Worker B role focuses on fostering independence through a client-centered and trauma-informed approach. You will help Program Participants set goals, mitigate risks, and work with local resources to enhance their quality of life. Engagement with participants ensures their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Program Participants in living independently
• Foster a safe and supportive environment
• Engage with community resources to enhance participant support
• Conduct wellness checks and address crisis situations
• Maintain accurate case notes and statistics
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant support worker training
• Strong ability to address challenging behaviors
• Knowledge of community resources and professional ethics
• Criminal record check necessary
• First Aid certification to be completed shortly after start
