Truancy Intervention Case Manager

Make a difference in student lives as a Truancy Intervention Case Manager at the School Board Office. This grant-funded role focuses on dropout prevention and fostering academic persistence.

In this position, you will provide individual counseling and coordinate essential services to combat chronic absenteeism. Engage with families and community organizations to ensure that students have the necessary resources for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic attendance intervention plans

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive case management

• Conduct outreach to at-risk families and students

• Assist young parents in connecting with vital resources

• Maintain case records for compliance and monitoring

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in a related social science field

• At least one year of experience in a supportive role

• Understanding of dropout prevention strategies

• Ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations

• Familiarity with special education and attendance policies
