In this vital role, you will work alongside First Nations individuals and families to navigate substance use services within a health-focused environment. Your strong background in trauma-informed care and Indigenous practices will enhance community partnerships and improve access to holistic wellness solutions tailored to diverse groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals and families in accessing wellness and substance use services
• Foster relationships with community members and health providers
• Promote harm reduction and preventative education initiatives
• Create partnerships to launch community wellness programs
• Raise awareness of regional toxic drug response resources
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Significant experience (3-5 years) in Indigenous harm reduction
• Certified in Naloxone training
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working with diverse populations and program development
