Community Support Worker

Empower clients in Kamloops as a Community Support Worker with Connective, a leading non-profit organization. Provide essential residential and outreach services to individuals facing mental health and developmental challenges.

This casual role requires flexibility with shifts and a minimum of eight availability days each month, including two weekends. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for clients, supporting them in daily activities and skill development. Your compassionate approach will directly impact residents and assist them in navigating their unique needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional and practical support to residents

• Assist in daily living activities and personal care

• Implement individual care plans with goal-setting

• Conduct counseling sessions and skill-building activities

• Collaborate with Case Management Team on client progress

Requirements:

• One year of experience in social services

• Diploma in Human/Social Services or equivalent

• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license

• Personal transportation required for client transport

• Ability to complete a Criminal Records Check
