This vital role within the Parks and Recreation Department involves hands-on planning, implementation, and supervision of programs tailored for seniors. You will work independently and collaboratively, assessing community demands while coordinating resources and staff effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and program senior community interests

• Supervise staff, volunteers, and program delivery

• Work with various organizations for event execution

• Develop strong relations with senior-focused committees

• Monitor and evaluate community service effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or Gerontology related field

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License required

• Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level "C/AED"

• Ability to pass a clear Police Information Check

• Flexible availability for evening/weekend duties
