Support Kamloops clients through community outreach, counselling, and life skills assistance in a 20-hour weekly schedule from Sunday through Wednesday.
As a Community Living Worker with Connective’s CLS Outreach Program, you will support people experiencing mental health issues and developmental disabilities. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and connect clients with community resources. The work includes individual and group counselling, daily living support, and skill building.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outreach, counselling, and crisis intervention services
- Develop care plans with the Case Management Team
- Teach meal preparation, housekeeping, finances, and personal care
- Support medications, appointments, transportation, and community participation
- Submit progress reports and monitor client goals
- Related Human or Social Service diploma
- One year supporting mental health or developmental disabilities
- BC Class 5 driver’s license
- Business-insured personal vehicle for client transportation
- Emergency First Aid and Criminal Records Check
