Role OverviewThis full‑time seasonal role includes operating attractions, safety orientations, guest engagement, and maintaining attraction gear.
Responsibilities- Operate the Golden Skybridge attractions:
Sky Zipline, Challenge Course, Giant Canyon Swing, Mountain Coaster, ticket validation, trail monitoring, interpretive programming, and guiding. - Daily opening and closing procedures for all attractions.
- Inspect infrastructure and equipment and monitor guest progress, experience, and safety.
- Fit harnesses, helmets, and other safety equipment and conduct safety orientations and equipment safety checks.
- Engage guests to ensure a memorable experience and build excitement about upcoming attractions.
- Coach, assist, and rescue guests on the attractions as required.
- Attend required meetings and training, and assist with attraction maintenance as requested.
- Perform gear maintenance, including washing, cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing equipment.
- Other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must be 19 years old on or before April 1 of the summer for which you are applying.
- Prior experience with outdoor recreation, athletics, educational roles, high‑ropes instructor experience, ziplining, climbing, lift operation, or guest relations is an asset.
- Comfortable working at heights and with fall protection systems.
- Great attention to detail to ensure safety and a positive guest experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business instructions, technical procedures, or government regulations written in English.
- Strong physical stamina and conditioning; physical demands include working outdoors in all weather conditions, repetitive actions, speaking, sitting/standing for extended periods, frequent bending/twisting, and ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lb.
- Walk long distances at high altitudes, climb stairs/ladders, and possess full overhead arm motions.
- Team‑oriented work environment; strong communication and listening skills with local and international guests and staff.
- Flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- First aid and/or CPR certification is an asset.
- Second‑language skills are highly advantageous.
Starting wage $19.00 /hour.
