Dawson Construction is looking for a safety conscious, team-oriented Parts Driver who will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely transportation of parts.
In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Construction
, working in a permanent, full-time position of Parts Driver
, reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Coordinator. The Parts Driver is responsible for promptly assisting the needs of our customers and technicians in delivering required parts and supplies. Your base location will be Kamloops, BC.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKEPrioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the jobOperate the delivery vehicle in a safe and cautious fashionProvide timely and accurate parts deliveriesEstablish an efficient route of deliveryMaintain a professional attitude, conduct and appearanceBuild and maintain excellent customer rapport by interacting all customers in a professional and friendly mannerDay to day tasks such as stocking shelves, general cleaning, yard maintenance etc.Assisting with shipping and receivingAccurately entering parts into inventory, putting parts awaySnow removal and culvert loading and unloading when neededVarious Administrative tasks as requiredWHAT YOU BRING
Delivery experience preferredForklift training an assetSkidsteer experience an assetValid minimum Class 5 Drivers licensePossess a clean driver abstractProfessional and friendly demeanorStrong written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBENEFITS
