Overview

Purolator is Canada’s leading integrated freight, package, and logistics provider. This posting describes the AM Sorter role at Purolator in Kamloops.

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted items or mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

• Specialized education is not required
• No experience necessary
• Language requirement:
  Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications with various stakeholders
