As a Class A CDL Driver, your goal is to deliver equipment to our customers safely, timely, efficiently, and courteously. You will be a company ambassador, providing exceptional customer service from a local base.

Responsibilities
  • Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
  • Operate construction equipment such as semi‑trucks and trailers (“low boys”) in accordance with DOT classification CDL‑A
  • Adhere to all safety requirements specific to equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre‑trip inspections
  • Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years DOT‑regulated commercial driving experience
  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
  • Diligent attention to safety
  • Position is deemed Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies and procedures
Driver – Mobile Storage

This role involves transporting Mobile Storage equipment safely and performing jobsite work such as block, level, and skirt.

Responsibilities
  • Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
  • Prepare truck, tools, and supplies for scheduled work orders
  • Operate construction equipment such as semi‑trucks and trailers (“low boys”) in accordance with DOT classification CDL‑A
  • Adhere to all safety requirements specific to equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre‑trip inspections
  • Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Driver – ROS

This position involves cleaning, stocking, and replenishing portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations, and restroom‑shower trailers as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Drive/transport equipment directly to customer locations on time and safely
  • Repair portable restroom units onsite as necessary
  • Perform onsite moves of equipment and pick‑up/delivery as requested
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on vehicles, maintain truck logs
  • Load and unload units, fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary
  • Frequent customer interaction, including recommendations for additional services and supplies
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping of assigned vehicles and facility
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years DOT‑regulated commercial driving experience
  • Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record
  • Tanker endorsement
  • Ability to use technology to accurately maintain a “Record of Service” & “HOS” for DOT compliance
  • Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to drive day or night; some weekend work may be required
  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures
  • Work effectively in all weather conditions and customer work environments
  • Diligent attention to safety
  • Position is deemed Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies and procedures
