Drive traffic efficiency as a Trainmaster with CPKC in Revelstoke, British Columbia. This role emphasizes safety and effective operations in managing yard and road activities.
As a Trainmaster, you will oversee train movements and ensure adherence to local service operating plans. You will play a critical role in coaching employees and enforcing safety compliance while enhancing productivity and service metrics. Strong leadership and logistical insight will define your impact in this full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate to improve yard and road flow
• Supervise train movements within the yard
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Conduct efficiency tests and safety activities
• Manage inventory for terminals and line of road
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Railway experience as a conductor
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Valid driver's license required
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
