Relief School Bus Driver in Barriere

Join School District No. 73 as a Relief School Bus Driver, responsible for safely transporting students across Barriere and Clearwater. Candidates must have a Class 2 license with an Air endorsement.

This role requires three years of proven driving experience under minimal supervision. Your primary responsibilities include conducting pre-trip inspections, logging extra trips, and maintaining bus cleanliness. You will also address any mechanical issues and ensure student discipline during transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate school bus safely on assigned routes

• Conduct pre-trip inspections prior to each departure

• Log additional trips as required

• Maintain cleanliness of the interior bus area

• Report mechanical failures and student behavior issues

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement

• Three years of accident-free driving experience

• Grade 12 education preferred

• Ability to assist students with special needs

• Must pass annual medical examination
