Class 1 Driver

Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Class 1 Driver to safely deliver and pick up equipment, tools, and supplies from customer worksites. The driver will operate a flatbed or roll‑back truck in urban, suburban, and rural environments, including tight construction zones, and represent the company with strong customer service.

• Deliver and recover rental equipment using a Class 1 vehicle (flatbed or roll‑back)
• Drive in tight jobsite environments (construction, commercial, events)
• Tow generators up to 20,000 lb (experience preferred)
• Operate cranes (training available)
• Provide basic equipment demonstrations at job sites
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs on equipment/vehicles
• Deliver excellent customer service at each stop

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence with an acceptable driving record
• Experience with commercial equipment or heavy haul (preferred)
• Experience with crane trucks or towing (asset)
• Strong safety mindset and customer‑focused attitude
• Previous experience as a Heavy Haul Driver, Lowboy Driver, Equipment Driver, Equipment Operator, Owner‑Operator, or Delivery Driver

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching
• Lifting 50+ lbs
• Working indoors and outdoors in various conditions

CAD 28.91 - 43.36 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
