Description
The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules.
Responsibilities- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks.
- Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out.
- Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer.
- Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
- Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items.
- Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
- Specialized education is not required.
- No experience necessary.
- Distribution Centers.
Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders.
Hours of WorkMonday - Friday 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM; 15 hours per week.
Location800 Laval Cres, Kamloops BC (Secondary: 440 - Kamloops).
