Lead helicopter operations as the Chief Pilot at Summit Helicopters in Kamloops, BC. This role focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, pilot training, and operational excellence.
As Chief Pilot, you will oversee the CARs 702 and 703 operations, ensuring adherence to Transport Canada regulations. Your responsibilities include pilot management, training programs, and operational standards across IFR and VFR helicopter flights. You will also manage flight crew qualifications and support operational improvements as delegated by the Director of Flight Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership to flight crews via Fleet Chief Pilots
• Ensure pilot training and qualifications meet Transport Canada standards
• Liaise with Transport Canada for compliance management
• Oversee pilot training programs and scheduling
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of flight crew
Requirements:
• Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence – Helicopter (ATPL-H)
• Minimum 500 hours of pilot-in-command experience
• Previous senior flight operations leadership preferred
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
