Position: Chief Helicopter Pilot Leadership Role
Summit Helicopters is seeking a driven Chief Pilot with expertise in compliance and safety to oversee our helicopter operations in Kamloops, BC. This leadership position involves managing flight crew, training, and ensuring operational excellence.

In this pivotal chief pilot role, you will report to the Director of Flight Operations and guarantee compliance with Transport Canada regulations. Expect to oversee pilot qualifications and scheduling while actively mentoring and supporting flight crew development initiatives. Your responsibilities include maintaining operational standards and possibly acting on behalf of the Director during their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and support to flight crew members

• Ensure pilot training and recency requirements are met

• Liaise with Transport Canada on compliance matters

• Oversee ongoing pilot training programs and audits

• Coordinate pilot scheduling and staffing needs

Requirements:

• Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence – Helicopter

• At least 500 hours pilot-in-command time

• Previous leadership experience in flight operations preferred

• Strong knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
