Join our compassionate team as a Bus Driver and Adult Day Service Worker in Logan Lake and Ashcroft, BC. Make an impact through quality support and safe transportation for our clients.
In this permanent part-time role, you will help clients with daily activities while ensuring they receive safe transportation to various programs. You'll adapt activities to fit the clients’ needs while helping with life skills and recreational engagement. Collaboration with the Program Supervisor ensures that concerns and improvements are communicated effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive clients safely to and from the Adult Day Centre
• Facilitate daily living assistance such as feeding and dressing
• Set up program areas and ensure equipment readiness
• Accompany clients during activities, promoting engagement
• Report any changes in clients' conditions to the supervisor
Requirements:
• High school diploma (Grade 12) is required
• Completion of an Activity Assistant Program and relevant experience
• Valid Food Safe certificate is mandatory
• Hold a BC Class 4 Driver’s License
• Experience providing support within a client-centered model
