In this crucial role, you will ensure regulatory compliance, manage pilot training programs, and provide guidance to all flight crews. Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency of CARs 702 and 703 operations and ensure that our highly skilled teams deliver exceptional flight services across Western and Northern Canada. Supporting the Director of Flight Operations, you will fulfill responsibilities with a focus on continuous improvement and crew development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations
• Oversee pilot scheduling and operational standards
• Lead and mentor flight crews through training initiatives
• Act as the liaison with Transport Canada audits
• Maintain operational proficiency by flying when needed
Requirements:
• Valid Instrument Rating and ATPL-H required
• Minimum 250 hours as pilot-in-command within last 3 years
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Collaborative approach with regulatory bodies
• Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and standards
