Stella-Jones seeks an experienced Logistics Coordinator to oversee transportation operations for rail tie and pole products. This role demands strong organization, problem-solving, and communication skills to ensure timely order shipments and customer satisfaction. You’ll collaborate closely with production teams and support storm response logistics, which may involve occasional on-call duties, to maintain effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate outbound shipments via truck and rail
• Schedule trucks and railcars for optimal shipping timelines
• Manage orders and railcar movements documentation
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation and records
• Collaborate with production to dispatch shipments on time
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in logistics or transportation
• Experience with truck and rail shipments required
• SAP and Power BI experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver's license
