Position Overview  The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Kamloops.

Duties & Responsibilities  Responsibilities include correctly offloading products, recording delivery information, accepting payment for goods when required, and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects.
The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver is expected to operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times, obey all rules and regulations of the road, and follow all appropriate company policies and procedures.
Required

Skills & Qualifications   Valid Class1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
Proven ability to lift, push and pull up to 80lb
Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification
Excellent customer service skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
High level of integrity and a strong work ethic; able to work with little supervision and be self‑directed
Professional demeanor under stressful situations
High School Diploma or equivalent
Availability for holidays and weekends
