Join Vantage Group as an Airport Technician 2 at Kamloops Airport, ensuring the operational efficiency of facilities and emergency services, working on a full-time rotational basis.
In this vital full-time role, you will report directly to the Manager of Facilities and Emergency Services, being part of a dedicated maintenance and emergency response team. Your expertise in facilities maintenance and emergency procedures will be crucial as you engage in airport operations around the clock.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scheduled inspections for airport facilities and equipment
• Complete Aircraft Rescue Firefighting training and maintain compliance
• Participate actively in the airport's emergency response program
• Operate heavy mobile equipment as required
• Adhere to workplace health and safety standards
Requirements:
• 5 years’ experience in airport or industrial maintenance
• Possession of a ticketed trade is a plus
• Ability to obtain a Class 3 driver’s permit
• Strong knowledge of emergency response protocols
• Effective communication skills and commitment to safety
