Elevate your career at Kamloops Airport with a full-time role as Airport Technician

Kamloops Airport is looking for dedicated Airport Technician 2 professionals to join their maintenance and emergency response team. This full-time union position includes performing preventative maintenance and operating equipment to keep airport services functional. Candidates will work on a rotational schedule, contributing to the 24/7 operations of the airport.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance inspections on airport facilities
• Achieve and maintain Aircraft Rescue Firefighting compliance
• Actively engage in emergency response initiatives
• Operate various mobile equipment and machinery
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in airport or industrial environments
• Trade certification is a plus
• Valid Class 3 driver’s permit attainment required
• Knowledge of maintenance practices for facilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
