As a temporary delivery agent, you will ensure timely mail delivery while representing Canada Post. This role requires sorting deliveries at the depot, operating a postal vehicle, and delivering items to customers on foot or by vehicle. You will also handle returning mail and packages to the depot for future delivery, making your role essential for customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and prepare deliveries at the depot each day
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle safely
• Deliver mail and packages on foot or by vehicle
• Unload incoming mail and packages at the depot
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe record
• Capability to lift and carry mail items regularly
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions
• Availability for on-call duties
