Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chief

Lead maintenance operations for Babcock Canada as a Crew Chief in Kamloops, BC. Oversee AMEs, manage tasks, and ensure compliance with aviation regulations.

As a Crew Chief (AME) with Babcock Canada, you will guide a skilled crew in executing maintenance and repair tasks on AW169 aircraft. Your expertise will ensure adherence to Babcock's Maintenance Planning Manual and Canadian Aviation regulations. This role requires hands-on work with specialized tools and a commitment to safety practices in an aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a crew of AMEs and apprentices

• Create task cards and order necessary parts

• Monitor consumable levels and maintain supplies

• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems on aircraft

• Conduct scheduled maintenance and keep accurate records

Requirements:

• Valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license

• Experience with AW169 and rotary-wing assets

• Proven leadership experience in maintenance settings

• Proficient in English, written and spoken

• Eligibility for Airport Restricted Area Identity Card
