Support the operations of Kamloops Airport as an Airport Technician
2. This full-time role involves maintenance, emergency response, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
As part of Vantage Group, the Airport Technician 2 will manage ongoing maintenance responsibilities in compliance with safety standards at Kamloops Airport. Applicants should have substantial experience in facilities maintenance and be ready to work in a team dedicated to emergency response. This position operates on a full-time rotational shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance functions for airport facilities
• Ensure compliance with Aircraft Rescue Firefighting standards
• Engage fully in the airport's emergency response team
• Operate mobile equipment and heavy machinery
• Follow strict health and safety practices
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in an airport or industrial role
• Ticketed trade certification preferred
• Ability to secure a Class 3 driver’s permit
• Familiarity with emergency and preventative maintenance
• Must reside within Kamloops city limits
