Join the dedicated team at Kamloops Airport as an Airport Technician 2 with Vantage Group, focusing on maintenance and emergency response for a safe airport environment.
This full-time position, reporting to the Manager of Facilities and Emergency Services, involves working on a rotational shift basis. You'll play a vital role in maintaining facilities and equipment while participating fully in the airport's emergency response protocols. Your experience in an airport or industrial environment will be essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ongoing maintenance of airport facilities and equipment
• Achieve Aircraft Rescue Firefighting certification
• Actively participate in emergency response planning
• Operate and maintain various types of mobile equipment
• Comply with health and safety regulations consistently
Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant experience required
• Ticketed trade certification preferred
• Ability to acquire a Class 3 driver's permit
• Familiarity with emergency response practices
• Strong communication skills and local residency required
