Join CPKC as a Railway Conductor and engage in a pivotal role within North America's first transnational railroad. This position involves outdoor work and demands a commitment to safety and attention to detail.

As a Railway Conductor, you will switch rail cars and assist with a variety of operational tasks in train and yard services. This position requires flexibility with unscheduled shifts and readiness for long hours, including nights and holidays. Your ability to communicate clearly and follow stringent guidelines will be key to supporting the movement of goods across the network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate train route movements per specific instructions

• Efficiently couple and uncouple rail cars

• Maintain communication regarding safety signals

• Provide necessary flag protection in emergencies

• Prepare clear operational reports and forms

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age mandated

• Completion of high school or equivalent

• Physical capability for demanding outdoor work

• Must pass background and medical assessments

• Valid driver’s license essential
