Take on the role of Flusher Operator with Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, maintaining vital sewer systems and ensuring community well-being. This full-time position requires strong safety compliance and operational skills.

In this permanent position, you'll be responsible for ensuring that sewer and drainage infrastructure remains operational through effective maintenance. You will oversee the use of flusher/vacuum trucks and cooperate with other public works staff. Emphasis on safety and thorough record-keeping is vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate flusher trucks for sewer system maintenance

• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance activities

• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections daily

• Complete safety and operational documentation

• Engage in emergency response and utility locating tasks

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Valid BC Class 3 Driver's License with necessary endorsements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant truck operating experience

• Understanding of drainage operations is beneficial

• Certification in Traffic Control and WHMIS is ideal
